I’m excited to say that the much anticipated Kenarchy Course will begin in March 2013. We hope it will be the first of many. The plan is for a year-long course based round quarterly interactive residential learning weekends. These will be followed by quarterly assignments, online learning circles and one-to-one tutorial support. The course will have two geographical centres, one in the south of England at Ashburnham Place, East Sussex, and one in the north in Silverdale, Lancashire.
The provisional residential course dates at Ashburnham Place are April 5th-7th 2013; July 12th- 14th; October 25th-27th; January 3rd-5th 2014. The provisional dates for Silverdale are March 1st-3rd 2013; June 14th-16th; September 13th-15th; November 15th-17th. We are still working on costs, which we will aim to keep below £250 a quarter inclusive of the residential weekends, learning circles, tutorials, marking and certification.
The course is being created and run by Sue, myself and our friends Andy and Kat Knox, together with our various other colleagues yet to be finalised. We don’t want anyone to be unable to do the course for financial reasons alone, and we will attempt to raise some bursaries for cases of real hardship.
A big ‘thank you’ to all of you who have collaborated via this blog to help us make this course a reality. Please make it as widely known as possible, and let us know if you will be likely to participate yourself. We need to get an idea of the likely take up as soon as possible and look forward to hearing from you via a comment below or an email to admin@passion.org.uk.
Roger,,
I’d like to find out a little bit more about this course so that I can discuss with Sam. If you have anything that you could send over that would be great.
Thanks
john
